So, what is Delta 8 THC? Delta 8 THC is one of the 100+ cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. Similar to other cannabinoids, it exerts its psychoactive effects by interacting with the body’s endocannabinoid system, particularly the nervous system’s CB1 receptor. Similar to how Delta 9 THC interacts with the nervous system, Delta 8 THC also causes similar but more mild potential effects.

Our selection of Delta 8 THC vapes includes a wide range of choices, concentrations, strains, and price points, so you can easily shop for the perfect vape cartridges to suit your needs. No matter what Delta 8 THC vape cartridges you choose, you can be confident that you’ll always receive 100% authentic, high-quality products from ATLRx. Browse all of our Delta 8 vape carts now.

Delta 8 Vape Cartridge - FAQ

A delta 8 vape cartridge is a detachable component of a vape pen filled with delta 8 THC oil that you connect to a separate battery to use. These cartridges are just one part of the overall vape pen, and can contain various cannabinoid blends and terpenes.

Delta 8 disposables, on the other hand, are the entire vape pen put together. You cannot detach the cartridge and replace it like you would a regular vape pen. Instead, it is an all-in-one device that comes pre-charged and pre-filled. Once you’ve finished vaping all of the delta 8 extract, you dispose of the entire pen—hence the term “disposable.”

How long a Delta 8 vape cartridge lasts will depend largely on the frequency of use and the length of the puffs you’re taking. Of course, the more frequently you take puffs of your vape pen, the more quickly it is going to run out. The same goes for the length of your hits: the longer you’re drawing your hits, the more extract you’re inhaling and taking from your delta 8 cart.

However, your standard one-gram Delta 8 cartridges should have anywhere from 200-400 puffs. More moderate consumers may be able to stretch that out more, though, keeping the cartridge for weeks at a time.

How much delta 8 is in delta 8 carts depends on the manufacturer and the product itself. If you look at the packaging or labeling of your Delta 8 cart, you should be able to see the exact amount of THC inside, either expressed in milligrams or percentages. Delta 8 carts will have anywhere from 100 – 1,000 mg of THC, but they can have more or less.

If you’re interested in knowing the exact cannabinoid levels of your Delta 8 carts, you can always view the product’s COA. The COA will break down every cannabinoid and illustrate how much of it is present in the extract within the cartridge.

If your Delta 8 THC vape cart is leaking, it’s important to stop using it right away to prevent any potential harm. Leaking could be due to accidental damage to the cartridge or even manufacturer defects that lead to improper functionality. It’s best to contact the manufacturer of the vape to get a refund or replacement, as there isn’t much you can do with a leaking Delta 8 cartridge.

If your Delta 8 carts become clogged, you have a few different options for unclogging them. First, you can try gently cleaning the mouthpiece using a Q-tip and some isopropyl alcohol, or you can use a pin to gently dislodge any blockage in the airway. If you don’t have a pin, use a paper clip instead.

When cleaning your cartridge with alcohol and a Q-tip, make sure to swab the air holes around the battery threading to ensure they aren’t clogged with concentrate.

After clearing out the vape pen, put it up to your mouth and start to inhale slowly without activating the heating element. Therefore, you should ensure that the pen is turned off. The only thing you want to do is see if you can force some air through the pen. If you are still unable to unclog the pen, it may be best to contact the company.

Most Delta 8 carts pair perfectly with a standard 510-thread battery. 510-thread batteries are the most common types of vape batteries on the market, and you can find them at the typical gas station, smoke shop, or even dispensary if weed is legal in your area. You can also buy these batteries online along with your cartridge itself.

At ATLRx, our Delta 8 carts are compatible with your typical 510-thread battery, making them as accessible as possible. Most vape enthusiasts probably already own one of these batteries!

Unfortunately, yes, delta 8 can cause a failed drug test. Standard drug tests cannot differentiate between delta 8 and delta 9 THC usage because both cannabinoids break down into the same metabolite in the body. It is this metabolite, THC-COOH, that drug tests are looking for. So, if this metabolite is present during a drug test, the test will pick it up and say you are positive for marijuana consumption.

If you have a drug test coming up, it’s best to avoid any THC cannabinoids, including delta 8, delta 9, delta 10, or HHC, for several weeks to clear the system. After you’ve passed, you can go back to enjoying your favorite Delta 8 carts.

Yes, delta 8 THC does get you high. The delta 8 cannabinoid is a psychoactive compound; however, it isn’t as strong as delta 9 THC. Instead, the compound is known for having slightly milder effects, even being called delta 9 THC’s “nicer younger sibling.”

Even though the effects are more subtle, delta 8 THC definitely gets you to your desired destination. If you’re wanting to experience the psychoactive effects of THC but don’t want to try delta 9 THC just yet, starting with delta 8 can be a wonderful option.

Delta 8 carts work by attaching to a vape battery. You screw the cartridge onto the battery, ensuring it is tightly in place. Then, as you inhale or hold the button on the vape battery, this heats the oil in the cartridge, creating a vapor. Then, the delta 8 THC is absorbed into the bloodstream, creating nearly an instant effect.

Over time, you will have to charge your vape battery to keep using it. Unlike disposables, these vapes are designed to be used over and over again. So, if you find your battery dying, simply plug it in using the correct cords.

Yes, Delta 8 carts are federally legal in the United States under the 2018 Farm Bill. The Farm Bill legalized hemp and hemp-derived products that contain 0.3% THC or less, which means that hemp-derived D8 products with these THC guidelines are federally legal. That is why you can buy Delta 8 carts online from retailers like ATLRx.

On the state level, however, delta 8 THC carts aren’t legal everywhere. Many states have started implementing bans on cannabinoids, making D8 illegal in several places across the country. Before attempting to purchase any Delta 8 THC carts, it’s essential to check the legality of the compound where you live. If you live where Delta 8 is illegal, you won’t be able to get products shipped to your house, unfortunately.

In places where delta 8 THC is legal, you typically must be at least 21 years old to purchase it, just as with other cannabis products. You will have to show proof of ID when purchasing, as well, to guarantee your age.

However, local laws do vary, and you may only need to be 18 in some places. Thus, check the regulations in your specific location to see what age you have to be to buy Delta 8 carts.

To store your Delta 8 cart properly, follow these guidelines:

  1. Keep it upright: Always store your Delta 8 cartridge in an upright position to prevent any leaks. This helps maintain the integrity of the oil and ensures that it remains in the cartridge.
  2. Store in a cool, dark place: Find a location that is cool and away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. Excessive heat can degrade the quality of the oil, while cold temperatures can affect the viscosity and flow.
  3. Avoid humidity: High humidity can lead to condensation inside the cartridge, which may impact its performance. Choose a dry area for storage.
  4. Protect from extreme temperatures: Avoid leaving your Delta 8 cart in places like a hot car or near heating vents. Consistent temperature control helps preserve the quality of the product.

By following these storage tips, you can help ensure that your Delta 8 cart remains in optimal condition for your enjoyment.
