Aurora Polaris, better known as the Northern Lights, is an astronomical phoneme. It is when there is a disturbance in the magnetosphere, this allows solar wind to breach the magnetic field, hitting the earth’s atmosphere, and emitting a natural light that is visible to us during the evening. It is the world’s best light show. There are massive smears of coloration, shades of greens, reds, pinks, ultraviolet, and blues strewn across the sky. It is another planetary masterpiece, mirroring the abstract works of Krasner. Iceland, Antarctica, Alaska, and Norway are the homes of these phonemes. Thankfully for us, ATLRx has brought us a little closer to that experience.
ATLRx has had the Northern Lights in CBD flower. Now, ATLRx has taken the next step—introducing the Northern Lights, now available with Delta 8. Being Indica driven flower, Northern Lights has fresh herbaceous and spicy notes. There is a pepper, lemongrass, and a smoky fragrance upfront. Considering the strains used for cross-breeding the Northern Lights, it makes sense. Its parents are the Indica dominant Afghani and the stone fruit Sativa, Thai.

Northern Lights delta 8 flower is lighter than the traditional strand—making it a pleasant and smooth transition. Throw on some field recordings from Antarctica to further enhance the experience. It can be like an alternate ending to “The Revenant,” Leonardo goes home and takes a nap—fin. There are no fistfights with bears or frigid winds.
Northern Lights is highly armored, making it ideal for growth. It is a two to one ratio, CBD dominant. However, the delicate crystallization hugs the sugar leaves, revealing the delta 8 THC lightly speckled on the flower. It is robust in color. The leaves feel more congenial to the White Cap because they are light but not as delicate; there is a light adhesive feel on the trichomes. It is sturdy; everything feels locked into its place. The pistils are a gentle orange-tint, steering the attention to the entire flower. The shape of the flower as a whole is beautiful. Every time I look at the flower, they look like Christmas trees. After finding one, the festive energy rolls around, the process of bringing it home, vessels of pine needle trails throughout the house, putting it up, and accepting that winter is here. Nevertheless, Northern Lights may look festive but it feels like a summer strand for late evenings and early mornings. It is a slow burn, not producing a large amount of smoke. There are citrus, pine, juniper, and earthy foliage notes. The slight nudge from the delta 8 is sure to make this northern lights an instant classic.
