With a lot of people working from home now for a few months due to COVID, we want to make sure the extroverts and people who loved the day to day human connection are set up for success. We understand that this can be a difficult time for some that have now been working from home since March.
While you get to drink your morning coffee in the comfort of your own home, you may also not have seen another human in the flesh for a few days. The positives of working from home are not having a commute, being able to wear pajama pants all day and not having your boss watching your every move all day. All of those are great positives but if you are someone who loved the office atmosphere, we can understand that working at home for this amount of time may be getting to you at this point. The negatives to working from home are not getting human connection daily, depression, less exercise, movement and avoiding distractions may be a little more difficult.
Remember to take a break from the screen, and go outside to stretch your body. Self care is just as important as your companies bottom line – remember that!
